Internship Program

 

Nevada County Consolidated Fire District in conjunction with Grass Valley City Fire is starting a new entry level training program for Interns.  This new program will consistent of ten (10) Firefighter academy student wishing to gain firefighter experience.  “The bookwork is completed and now the fieldwork starts,” states David Ray Battalion Chief and Program Coordinator.

The goal of the program is to assist the new Firefighter Academy Graduates gain the valuable field experience required for Firefighter I certification.

The District will receive educated and energetic individuals to participate as Firefighters in training.
