Effective Friday, December 8, 2023 at 8:00AM the burn suspension in Nevada, Yuba, Placer and Sierra Counties will be lifted. CAL FIRE NEU Unit Chief Brian Estes is formally cancelling the burn suspension and advises residents that they may resume burning on permissible burn days (Open Burning).
